This is what I did ALLLLLL day on easter. lol. it took me that long, i swear.
my easter egg! I made this with wax, dye, and a whole lotta patience, and i will be happy to say it's the coolest one I've ever done, and I've been doing wax egg designs for awhile O.o;
anywho, thought I would share, since i am so damn proud that i didn't break it.
like i did the first one. >.<
wow, you kick my ass at this for sure! I was suprised when I came across this, I havnt seen any one else posting these! I posted one I did back in high school. Once, I took the box of eggs I had painted in to show my friends, and one of my class mates really like this one with red eastern stars on it, I was thinking about letting her take it, even though it was one of my favorites, but then she accidently dropped it! It hit a chair back and the end poped off it! She just about cried, she felt so bad, but it broke very cleanly so I super glued it back, works amazingly well when they break into two or three pieces!
mine unfortunately *the first time i tried it* broke in a whole lot of little pieces >.< thankfully, this one has remained intact, however ^.^ thanks for the comment!!
Ukranian eggs have to be the most tedious works of art to make in the world. But wow, you did a professional-like job here! I'm sorry you broke your first one. What a let down that must have been. I remember throwing my wax funnel stick across the table out of frustration. Now I realize how silly I was to let an egg make me angry.
*sniffles* yah...the first one i had set on the table for a second, and didn't notice it had started rolling. i hear a "crunch" as it hits the ground. needless to say...there was no saving it. GAH.
everytime i set this one down? it was in a little box. no rolling for this egg.
