"Raguel is the archangel assigned to watch over the good behavior of other angels. Raguel means "friend of God.
1 Enoch describes him as one of four great archangels who watch, along with Michael, Raphael, and Suriel, and one of the holy angels "who take vengeance for the world of the luminaries." Enoch calls Raguel the Angel of the Earth. He also is a guardian of the second heaven, ruled by the archangel Raphael, which is a penal colony where fallen angels await judgement. There, Raguel is instrumental in meting out judgement to erring angels. Raguel, like Uriel, was another of the seven angels removed from the ranks of the Church's recognized angels at a council in Rome in 745 under Pope Zachary." -angel books strewn about my floor

Raguel is "The Judge" to me, so I wanted to give him certain little symbols of justice on him, but nothing too obvious. if you can pick them out, yay! Though I

how his wings came out the best ^.^

I am REALLY proud of the coloring on him. u.u (for the moment at least)

drawn by hand, colored in photoshop 7 blah blah blah.
I'm not sure where I found the brushes I used for the tatoos but if you see them and recognize them as yours, once again, let me know and yee shall be justified.

Changed my mnd; Raguel has the most awesome-looking wings. EVER. They totally frickin' RULE.

I just love the detail you put into the angels! The shading on the wings, the little elements here and there...I also like that while he's the Judge, he nonetheless appears kindly deposed towards the viewer, just like a proper angel.

Come to think of it, he's kind of got a tribal look there. I still look at his wings and think they look a bit like they could be dangerous, somehow. The feathers also seem vaugely similar to peacock feathers, I think.

I really like this series of angels you've made. I particularly like this one of Raguel and his wings are what I like most about him. The descriptions are pretty helpful, too. Since you seem to be into angels, you should check out Bobbin's gallery if you haven't already. There are some very good angel pieces there.
